Product Overview
This kit includes (1) Bridge and (1) Neck B52 Telecaster® style assembled pickup bobbins. Both pickup bobbins are pre-assembled and ready for winding. (Magnet wire is NOT included in this kit, and must be purchased seperately). Optional matte black box with custom foam inserts available.
These bobbins are for the true tone junkies! They sport 0.187" Alnico 2 rod magnets on the high three strings (G,B,e) while using 0.187" Alnico 5 rod magnets on the lower three strings (E,A,D). This helps to create a smooth, well balanced output. You get the punchy attack and well defined bass response associated with the Alnico 5 while producing the warm swelling vintage tones you get from the Alnico 2. No more need to compromise on either muddy bass response or harsh highs.
Bridge Pickup Bobbin Includes:
- Vintage correct black vulcanized fiber flat-work. (black bottom flatwork 0.093", black top flatwork 0.062")
- Eyelets made specifically for soldering (eyelet lip is on the bottom side only providing smooth, snag-free winding)
- 0.187" Alnico V sand cast polepiece magnets on the low E, A, D strings
- 0.187" Alnico II sand cast polepiece magnets on the high G, B, e strings
- E: 0.630 A: 0.630 D: 0.630 G: 0.630 B: 0.630 e: 0.630
- Copper plated steel bridge pickup plate
- Pickup Height Tension (rubber tubing)
- (3) Nickel plated pickup mounting screws
- Vintage style 22awg cloth push-back wire (1 ft of each black and yellow)
- (8) ft 8 ply white cotton string
Neck Pickup Bobbin Includes:
