Description:
These are Tone Kraft 0.195" dia. sand cast vintage bevel Alnico 5 magnets similar to the ones found in vintage pickups from the '50s. (Non-Magnetized). These magnets feature a mirror like nickel plating to help add a touch of flair to any pickup!
Characteristics:
In terms of magnetic strength the Alnico 5 magnets are the strongest of the three when compared to Alnico 2 or Alnico 3. Bright, glassy tones with a punchy aggressive attack. Alnico 5 magnets were used in the mid 1950's Stratocaster guitars and are still considered the weapon of choice by many guitarist.
