Characteristics:
In terms of magnetic strength the Alnico V rod magnets are the strongest of the three when compared to Alnico II or Alnico III. Bright, glassy tones with a punchy aggressive attack. Alnico V rod magnets were used in the mid 1950's Stratocaster guitars and are still considered the weapon of choice by many guitarist.
